The WorldVIZ Festival is a global event that celebrates the art and craft of architectural visualization, hosted alongside the 3D Awards, the festival gathered artists, studios, and researchers who are redefining how architecture is imagined, narrated, and experienced through image-making.

A global conversation

The WorldVIZ Festival is becoming a key meeting point for the visualization community — a place where dialogue, experimentation, and collaboration take center stage.
Talks, panels, and workshops explored how digital imagery continues to evolve as a bridge between architecture, technology, and emotion. From cinematic storytelling to AI-assisted workflows, the festival highlighted the ways visualization continues to expand its expressive and conceptual boundaries.

Jury of the 3D Awards

This year, Erika Ruiz, Founder of PLEM, joined the jury of the 2025 3D Awards, contributing to the evaluation of outstanding works across multiple categories.
The experience offered a privileged perspective on the current state of our discipline — one where diversity of approaches and visual languages coexist, yet share a common ambition: to transform architectural ideas into meaningful experiences.

Beyond competition

The festival is more than an awards ceremony — it is a celebration of collective creativity.
Between conferences, informal exchanges, and exhibition moments, WorldVIZ reaffirmed the sense of belonging to a global network of artists and studios that continue to push the discipline forward.

For PLEM, participating in the festival and in the 3D Awards jury was both an honor and an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing discourse on how visualization shapes architectural culture today.
